Cookie notice
Updated 18 August 2026 · RapidSlate, Queensland, Australia
The short version
RapidSlate is close to a static site. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics suite and does not track you between sites. What follows is the complete list of what may be written to your browser and why.
Strictly necessary
- userConsent — a single value in local storage recording whether you accepted or declined the cookie bar. Without it the bar would reappear on every page. Stays until you clear your browser data.
- Hosting and security records — our host logs requests server side, which is not storage on your device but is described here for completeness.
These cannot be switched off without breaking the site, and they carry no marketing value.
Analytics
None. There is no analytics or measurement product on this site, so there is no analytics category to accept or decline. If we ever add one, this notice and the cookie bar will change first.
Messaging and push alerts
If you press Accept on the cookie bar, or submit the update form with the consent box ticked, we load the OneSignal web push software. Only from that moment can it write to your browser.
- Keys beginning with os_ and similar OneSignal entries — held in local storage and session storage to identify your push subscription. Kept while the subscription lives.
- ONE_SIGNAL_SDK_DB — an IndexedDB database holding the subscription state and delivery details.
- A service worker registered at OneSignalSDKWorker.js, which receives alerts while the tab is closed.
Pressing Decline clears those keys, deletes that database and leaves the software unloaded.
How to take it all back
- Press Decline on the cookie bar to clear push data and stop the software loading.
- Revoke notification permission for this site in your browser settings to end alerts immediately.
- Clear site data in your browser to remove every entry described above, including your consent choice.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any email to leave the update list entirely.
Where this connects
What happens to the data behind these entries, including the overseas disclosure involved in push delivery, is set out in our privacy policy. Anything unclear can go straight to desk@rapidslate.com.
